Follow What We’ve Done
You’ll find our team helping out by feeding the homeless, coaching youth sports, working with places of worship, and supporting some of the outstanding community service agencies, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic initiatives in our local neighborhoods.
We talk the talk and we also walk the walk – literally.
We’ve supported the MDA Muscle Walk, we’ve worked to feed the homeless with Peter & Paul Community Services, and we’ve engaged in spirit days and put in volunteer hours.
These are just the things we do publicly, as a team. What you don’t see are the hours we put in privately, serving, loving, and supporting.
This is what Deca Property Management is about.
Some of the partnerships and associations we work with include:
- National Association of Residential Property Managers
- Better Business Bureau
- National Association of Realtors
Spirit Days
To foster team spirit and to give back to the communities in which they live, the Deca Realty team has created Spirit Days. Five or six times a year our employees amp up their creativity, strengthen their bonds to each other and create an event that gives back to St. Louis neighborhoods and programs.
St Patty’s Day Scavenger Hunt to support the MDA Muscle Walk – In March
To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day our employees participated in a scavenger hunt around downtown Kirkwood. Working in teams, our employees worked together to solve clues and locate various objects at participating businesses. Special thanks to Gwen’s Travel, Sugar Shack, Kirkwood Library, and McArthur’s Bakery.
The MDA Muscle Walk was the beneficiary of a donation by the Deca staff. MDA Muscle Walk empowers individuals in hometowns across America to raise critical awareness and funds for muscle-debilitating diseases that severely weaken muscle strength and mobility.
Feed the Homeless to support Peter & Paul Community Services – In April
A group of Deca’s finest, along with many friends, gathered to feed the homeless. A great meal was prepared by the Deca staff and was enjoyed by over 50 people. Community service is an important part of the Deca culture. When someone needs help, the team at Deca is there to rally behind them.
Peter & Paul Community Services offers those they serve hope, empowerment, compassion, hospitality and a chance for independence
