Maplewood
Maplewood was one of the early suburbs of St Louis. Located just outside the city limits it was once considered a getaway destination from the busy downtown living. Many of the historic homes built from 1900 to 1910 are still standing and well preserved. Today it still offers a small-town feel.
This area is popular with hipsters and has a trendy vibe. Maplewood is where you go to find unique handmade gifts by local artisans. You can find homemade treats, custom t-shirts, artisanal breads, leather goods, metal goods and multiple wellness studios. Maplewood is also home to the first ever Green Dining District. These eco-friendly restaurants have committed to minimizing their environmental footprint. It is a foodie’s paradise with menus offering farm to table local foods.
But like many of St. Louis’ favorite neighborhoods, if you plan to move here you will need to be patient. Turnover is slow. People love the small-town city living, their neighbors and their local retailers.

I'm a Realtor who just purchased a condo for myself. Lenders and Realtors know that condos have been having a really hard time getting approved for financing due to updated lending regulations. Katelyn Alexander is the property manager for my condo group and we had such a smooth transaction. All of the needed documentation was immediately provided with no delays. I've had deals for clients fall apart due to condo mismanagement and was so nervous about this deal but we were so pleasantly surprised with the fantastic service and attention to detail.

Tasha with Deca was AMAZING! Friendly, accommodating, and made me feel as comfortable as possible during the viewing process! She was easy to talk to and answered questions quickly. She showed up early and even showed me 2 other properties that were available near by. I had driven 2& 1/2 hrs on my day off to view a property and wasn't able to book another one for several days so she saved me the trip! Thank you Tasha for squeezing me in! After having 2 separate unpleasant phone interactions with the lady in the office Tasha turned my business with this company to a very pleasant one. 5 stars for Tasha! Deca has been working with us hand and hand as we’ve been given such a short notice to move into a new home. They even were able to schedule us in for an emergency showing the evening of, and the house was so clean, smelled amazing, and the lady showing us the home was so accommodating and sweet.

We've been really happy with how quickly DECA responds to our maintenance requests. Walter came by today because our AC isn't working well at all and was quick to install a window unit and get us scheduled with an HVAC person. Walter from Aced Maintenance helped replace and fix multiple things in my home. He replaced the garbage disposal, fixed my doorbell, and replaced my ceiling fan. He answered all the questions I had about what was being fixed and replaced. And answered additional questions I had about other things in the home. He communicated with the property management about any additional work that needed to be done. Also provided me with information about everything he fixed. I really appreciated the work he did and his communication.

My A/C went out and Walter brought 2 portable units out until my HVAC gets replaced. Walter is wonderful!! He cares about your needs. He’s terrific to talk to and he’s a dog lover! I can’t say enough good things about him!!

Just had a showing with Tasha Robinson today. She gave a courtesy call to make sure I was still coming which I appreciated. She answered all of my questions about not only the unit I was seeing today but another unit I was interested in and I was able to see that 2nd unit as well today! On January 3, 2024, Dillion assessed my leaking toilet. This had been worked on before by Angela and Chad back in May 2023. Dillion determined that the installer hired by Seller of this condo that I purchased had improperly installed the toilet and ceramic tile floor. The flange was too low and the new floor was incorrectly built around it. Dillon installed a spacer and replaced the wax ring with a plastic ring. All throughout the process, Dillion took the time to explain to me in detail what he discovered and what he was doing to make the repairs. He is very personable and knowledgeable. Another thing I appreciated was that he called when he was on the way with an ETA.
