Are you looking to build a long-term career in property management—not just a job?

We are hiring an Assistant Property Manager who wants to learn, grow, and develop into a full Property Manager within 12–24 months. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is driven, organized, and ready to take ownership of their work while learning the full lifecycle of property management.

You will start in a support role, working closely with experienced Property Managers, with a clear path to managing your own portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing (Day One)

You will support the property management team while learning the business from the ground up, including:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for residents (calls, emails, portal communication)
• Responding to all resident inquiries within set timeframes
• Managing move-ins, move-outs, and leasing processes
• Preparing leases, documents, and coordinating onboarding of new residents
• Scheduling inspections and reviewing walkthrough reports
• Coordinating with maintenance and creating work orders
• Assisting with rent collections, late notices, and evictions
• Supporting lease renewals and tracking resident responses
• Managing resident files, compliance, and documentation
• Assisting Property Managers with daily operations and escalations

This role is highly detail-oriented and requires strong communication, organization, and accountability.

What You’ll Grow Into

Within 12–24 months, you will transition into a Property Manager role, where you will:

• Manage your own portfolio of properties
• Build relationships directly with property owners
• Oversee financial performance, maintenance, and leasing strategy
• Lead support staff and manage a team
• Take full ownership of property operations

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• Office-based during training
• Combination office and field role after training
• Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Opportunity to transition into field-based responsibilities as you grow

Compensation

• Starting pay: $25/hour
• Compensation will transition to Property Manager structure as you grow into the role
