Listed below are suggestions to keep you from getting HOT under the collar this summer……………….
Air Conditioners:
CENTRAL AIR
- Poor cooling is usually caused by a clogged filter. Make sure yours is clean. If the air coming out is warm you should replace the filter.
- If the unit does not run at all, check the fuse/breaker in the circuit panel.
- If water drops from the unit, runs on the floor, or drips through the ceiling (if the unit is in the attic) shut the unit off. DO NOT operate the unit as the unit will continue to produce water and damage to the property may occur.
WINDOW UNITS
- Poor cooling is usually caused by a clogged filter. Make sure yours is clean. If the air coming out is warm remove the filter and clean with water.
- If the unit does not run at all, check power supply and confirm reset button is activated.
- If water is dropping from unit or running on the floor turn unit off the unit and unplug. DO NOT operate the unit as it will continue to produce water and damage to the property may occur.
