We started buying properties in the late 80s. One of my brothers would do the maintenance, one of my brothers would collect the rent, and I was in charge of the finances.

We just owned a few properties, and as we owned those, we got calls from people looking for property management.

So, we decided as a unit, “Hey, let’s open a property management company.”

In January of 1990, Deca Property Management was born. It’s been all organic growth from there.

My mom ran the operation for many, many years until she passed. She created the spirit and the value system that exists today for Deca.

We have several core values, but I believe accountability is the one that contributes greatly to our company’s operations. We hold ourselves accountable to our responsibilities and delivering results for our owners.
